Even if you can't donate funds, we gladly accept donations for Michigan Green School activities such as solar cookers, educational materials for schools, seedlings for Earth Day, etc. Please contact us with any questions!
Looking for a few good-n-green volunteers
The Michigan Green Schools Program is asking for volunteers to bring their special talents and enthusiasm to this growing grassroots project. Volunteer options include helping with native Michigan plant gardens, eco-story readers with books on threatened Michigan animals, publicity coordinators for the schools, solar cooking assistants, speakers on a broad range of environmental topics, photographers, fund raisers, Earth Day School Event Planners, and many more. In the near future Michigan Green Schools will post a complete volunteer opportunity list. Please contact Kristine Moffett, volunteer teacher coordinator or your local county coordinator.
